QUARTERBACK SHEDEUR SANDERS | 6'2 210 LBS | COLORADO
Sanders captivated the world last year. I'll have to see his progression this year:
So far. so good. He's able to stand in the pocket and make strong throws. Has a solid base and strong arm. Can make just about every throw. He's able to make plays under duress. Confidence and resilience are key for a quarterback, and he has plenty of those. He certainly didn't inherit Deion's speed, but he can move around in the pocket. He's more of a pocket passer, able to read the defense and put the ball in catchable areas for the receivers.
QUARTERBACK CAM WARD | 6'2 225 LBS | MIAMI
Everywhere Ward goes, his team has success. I believe he might have the strongest arm in this draft. He is a true pocket passer, has a strong base to stay strong in the pocket. Scouts are sleeping on this guy, and I'm sure Florida State regrets not securing his services. Ward is solid, he can make all of the throws.
CORNERBACK TRAVIS HUNTER | 6'1 185 LBS | COLORADO
He's probably the best athlete in this draft. He can start at corner and play part-time as a receiver, much like Prime Time did in Dallas. Or vice versa, and the Patriots certainly need him more at WR.
He's the best WR prospect in this draft. I would certainly find a way to get him the ball at least a few times each game.
EDGE ABDUL CARTER | 6'3 255 LBS | PENN STATE
The Jets couldn't stop the run if their lives depended on it.
WIDE RECEIVER TETAIROA MCMILLAN | 6'5 210 LBS | ARIZONA
Let's fix the elephant in the room. The passing game sucks and needs to be fixed. I don't care if I have to draft a WR or QB every single year in the first round. Get it right! You see the Vikings have so much WR talent that they can drop almost anybody in there at quarterback.
DEFENSIVE TACKLE MASON GRAHAM | 6'3 320 LBS | MICHIGAN
CORNERBACK WILL JOHNSON | 6'2 200 LBS | MICHIGAN
Prototype cornerback, he's what you would draw from scratch to build the perfect corner. He just needs to run at least a 4.5 in the 40.
In a division with Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert, you're going to need smart, capable DB's to overcome your division rivals.
OFFENSIVE TACKLE KELVIN BANKS JR | 6'4 325 LBS | TEXAS
Protect the little man, the future, Bryce Young.
EDGE RUSHER MYKEL WILLIAMS | 6'5 265 LBS | GEORGIA
LINEBACKER JALON WALKER | 6'2 245 LBS | GEORGIA
OFFFENSIVE TACKLE JOSH SIMMONS | OHIO STATE | 6'5 310 LBS
Simmons might be the most talented OT in this draft, and the 49ers have time to wait. They're more worried about the long-term potential and not the short-term injury issue. They're going to need a replacement at LT in a year or two.
RUNNING BACK ASHTON JEANTY | 5'9 215 LBS | BOISE ST
The Vikings buckle down on defense and take a gifted edge rusher. The Vikings seems to always have probowl edge rushers, and this should continue that trend for them.
