QUARTERBACK CALEB WILLIAMS | 6'1 215 LBS | USC
PLAYER COMPARISON: A TALLER PRIME RUSSELL WILSON
RATING: 84
CEILING: 99
Caleb Williams looks to be the top prize at QB in 2024. He has a solid build, decent height, good arm strength, great awareness, and can run the ball when needed. He has a winning attitude, a great work ethic, and good character.
The Bears will take Caleb Williams and then trade Justin Fields.
QUARTERBACK JAYDEN DANIELS | 6'4 210 LBS | LSU
RATING: 80
CEILING: 94
Jayden Daniels won the Heisman Trophy this season. He was able to get the ball to LSU's dangerous weapons this year. He is a B+ passer and an A+ runner. One misconception is that he can run like Lamar. He may have 4.4 speed, but he's not as electrifying as Lamar. However, he is a very fast straight-ahead runner, and will surely have his share of big gains with those jets that he has for legs.
Washington has been desperate for a quarterback for a while now. They are all over the place with everything and act like they don't see the elephant in the room. Get a quarterback right now.
QUARTERBACK DRAKE MAY | 6'5 220 LBS | UNC
PLAER COMPARISON: TREVOR LAWRENCE (Pro version, not highly touted college prospect version)
RATING: 78
CEILING: 91
Let me be clear, I don't agree with the move here. I would take Harrison Jr here and then take Bo Nix in the 2nd. They've had the worst receiving core in the NFL for the last 3-4 years. They think they can find a receiver in the 2nd round, but I promise you that he won't be anywhere close to Harrison Jr's ability. I'm only projecting Drake Maye here because the Patriots have made it so obvious that they are taking the 3rd best QB available in this draft.
However, Maye is built like the prototype. He has the height, arm strength, and a great attitude. Built similarly to Trevor Lawrence.
Drake can make all of the necessary NFL throws, but his season had mixed results. I haven't seen that "it" factor, but the natural talent is there.
MARVIN HARRISON JR | 6'4 205 LBS | OSU
RATING: 85
CEILING: 100
The Cardinals hit the lottery here because there are quarterback-desperate teams ahead of them.
Harrison Jr is the best player in this draft. He's got the prototype length at 6'4. He also has strong hands and good strength; but he's not so big that it makes him stiff. He has the same fluidity as his father, he plays almost exactly like his father. The difference is, he has a bigger catch-radius. He's as agile of a 6'4 man that you will ever see. If there was ever a time to take a Wide Receiver with the #1 pick, this would be the time.
Even Georgia was thanking the football gods when Harrison suffered an injury in the first half of the playoff game and couldn't return in the 2nd half. He was scorching the Bulldogs' defense (as a true sophomore) as he had 3 touchdowns in the 1st half. UGA cornerback, Kelee Ringo, who was defending Harrison Jr, fell in the draft from a projected top 10 prospect to a 3rd rounder.
MALIK NABERS | 6'0 200 LBS | LSU
RATING: 81
Next in line for the great receivers that come out of LSU. Built a lot like Justin Jefferson, so it makes you wonder if he has that same kind of ceiling. Justin Jefferson didn't even go top 20 in his draft. I'm sure some teams feel foolish about that. If you're willing to wait until the 2nd round to take a receiver, then you're going to miss out on the top tier talent.
WIDE RECEIVER ROME ODUNZE | 6'3 210 LBS | WASHINGTON
PLAYER COMPARISON: KEENAN ALLEN
RATING: 80
The Chargers got rid of both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams. They need a new #1 guy because I don't think they do right now.
Odunze has looked great all year. He has a huge catch radius and he will go and get the ball. Penix Jr puts a lot of trust in this guy, and you can see why.

OFFENSIVE TACKLE JOE ALT | 6'8 315 LBS | NOTRE DAME
EDGE DALLAS TURNER | 6'4 245 LBS | ALABAMA
It's going to be hard to pass on a player this good. Getting Turner outside of the top 10 is highway robbery. It only worked out that way in this format because of needs.
TIGHT END BROCK BOWERS | 6'4 230 LBS | GEORGIA
PLAYER COMPARISON: GEORGE KITTLE
RATING: 83
CEILING: 99
Has been a stud since day one. Worthy of a top 10 pick. George Kittle type, he's been featured on the juggernaut Bulldogs since his freshman season.
OFFENSIVE TACKLE TALIESE FUAGA | 6'6 325 LBS | OREGON STATE
EDGE RUSHER CHOP ROBINSON | 6'3 250 LBS | PENN STATE
OFFENSIVE TACKLE OLUMYIWA FASHANU | 6'6 310 LBS | PENN STATE
RATING: 84
CEILING: 99
He was ready for the NFL last year. Surprisingly decided to come back, but it's no surprise that he is amongst the best lineman in this draft class.
The Broncos are trash and just need to take the top talent available. There isn't a quarterback here good enough worth taking that you can't get in the 2nd round. They should trade back a little bit to add a 2nd round pick. Then they could take a WR in the 1st round and Bo Nix or Michael Penix Jr in the 2nd round.
RIGHT TACKLE JC LATHAM | 6'6 340 LBS | ALABAMA
Latham is a mountain of a man that will immediately upgrade the running game and provide some peace of mind for whomever the quarterback ends up being.
WIDE RECEIVER BRIAN THOMAS | 6'4 200 LBS | LSU
Thomas is a long, lean deep threat. He's going to be a problem for opposing teams. He has the speed to open the defense and the length to go up and get the ball. He has an excellent season this year in helping Jayden Daniels win the Heisman.
EDGE LAIATU LATU | 6'5 265 LBS | UCLA
Relentless edge rusher that is also solid against the run. One of the top players this season in sack production, he knows how to get to the quarterback.
EDGE RUSHER JARED VERSE | 6'4 250 LBS | FLORIDA STATE
WIDE RECEIVER ADONAI MITCHELL | 6'4 200 LBS | TEXAS
PLAYER COMPARISON: GEORGE PICKENS
RATING: 76
CEILING: 95
Just like George Pickens slipping to the 2nd round because of his attitude, you can see Mitchell also being under-valued. However, he's a #1 WR talent if he can focus in and put it all together with consistency. He has the size, speed, strength, and competitive edge to be a great wide receiver. I'm not sure why most scouts don't see him as a top tier talent in this draft. He has the size, speed, bounce in his legs, and strong hands to pluck the ball out of the air.
CORNERBACK NATE WIGGINS | 6'2 185 LBS | CLEMSON
Wiggins has great size to go with fluid hip movement and agility, a rare combination at defensive back. He can come right in and make an immediate impact.
CORNERBACK QUINYON MITCHELL | 6'0 195 LBS | TOLEDO
OFFENSIVE LINEMAN TROY FAUTANU | 6'3 320 LBS | WASHINGTON
The Steelers need to get more physical on the line still. They took an offensive lineman in the 1st round last year, and now they can really solidify it by taking another mauler.
DEFENSIVE BACK COOPER DEJEAN | 6'1 210 LBS | IOWA
Versatile DB that can play many roles. Good athlete with smart anticipation skills.
CORNERBACK KOOL-AID MCKINSTRY | 6'1 195 LBS | ALABAMA
QUARTERBACK BO NIX | 6'2 220 LBS | OREGON
OFFENSIVE TACKLE AMARIUS MIMS | 6'7 340 LBS | UGA
CORNERBACK TERRION ARNOLD | 6'0 195 LBS | ALABAMA
(#77 IN THE VIDEO)
OFFENSIVE TACKLE JORDAN MORGAN | 6'6 320 LBS | ARIZONA
Morgan is a starting caliber tackle in this league. You never hurt your team when you add a solid lineman to impact the line of scrimmage in both the running and passing game.
(#60 in this video)
OFFENSIVE TACKLE TYLER GUYTON | 6'7 325 LBS | OKLAHOMA
Guyton is a big bully with great natural skill for his size. Will excel with some professional fine-tuning to his technique.
OFFENSIVE TACKLE AMARIUS MIMS | 6'7 340 LBS | UGA
WIDE RECEIVER TROY FRANKLIN | 6'3 180 LS | OREGON
Franklin is a nice athlete with a long, thin frame. He has good quickness to separate on routes, and good bounce to go up and get it.
LINEBACKER PAYTON WILSON | 6'4 240 LBS | NC STATE
Zay Flowers is elusive, now they just need to add a possession receiver to the other side. A big target like Coleman will work nicely, especially as a blocker.
OFFENSIVE TACKLE KINGSLEY SUAMATAIA | 6'5 325 LBS | BYU
WIDE RECEIVER XAVIER WORTHY | 5'11 165 LBS | TEXAS
