FORWARD TYRAN STOKES | 6'7 225 LBS
Big bully with grown man size. He's way ahead of his peers, physically. Agile player that moves really well for his size. He's built like Kawhi Leonard (a healthy Kawhi, not the injured version - this guy here is durable). He has more bounce than Kawhi, this dude is jumping out of the gym. Sort of a mix between Vince Carter and Kenyon Martin. He has a long wingspan to go with elite athleticism and size. He's a franchise player, someone that can get you 25 PPG and 8+ RPG in his prime.
I think Tyran would benefit more from going to a prestigious program like Duke. Instead of a smaller school that will let him do whatever he wants just for the sake of getting a commitment. Let some real coaches coach him up, he's coachable, I've seen him evolve through his years. I love his fiery edge and I hope he carries that with him to the NBA. I've seen him chirping and flexing at high school kids. I'm not a huge fan of it because he's a man amongst boys. However, I would love to see that competitive fire against NCAA and NBA players, that's true entertainment. You do that against guys your size, I'm all for you flexing on them.
PF/C Cameron Williams | 6'11 205 lbs
Not only is he one of the longest players in this draft, but he's also one of the most athletic and skilled players for his size. You can't teach the natural tools that he has. Can do everything, has no problem finishing inside. Nice touch on his shots, good lateral mobility, and very coordinated for his length. He can dribble drive from the perimeter or in transition because he has handles like that. His talent is worthy of the #1 pick, he would go #1 in a lot of draft years. Wouldn't surprise me at all if someone takes him with the top pick, he has that kind of talent.
POINT GUARD BRANDON MCCOY | 6'4 | Committed to Duke
Best point guard in this draft! Has the ball on a string with both hands. Not only does he have elite athleticism, but he also plays hard and fast. The intensity is definitely there. He can control the tempo on offense. He really doesn't have any weaknesses. He has good size for a PG, excellent athleticism, and excellent skill to go along with it.
Doesn't surprise me at all that he's going to Duke, he's a blue chip prospect. Although, Coach Calipari over at Arkansas also would have been a great choice for a guard like him.
Center Marcus Ponder | 6'11 320 lbs
They're calling this guy the next Shaq, and that's some big shoes to fill. He's very dominant in the paint, plays with an attitude. He's an intimidating competitor. He's looking to dunk on everyone and protects the rim on defense. You can't teach size an athleticism. The more I dig into this graduating class, the more talent I find. This draft is stacking up as one of the best, but I doubt that all of them will enter the draft after their freshman season.
COMBO GUARD JASON CROW JR | 6'3 | COMPTON, NY
Excellent point guard that can attack the defense in transition. Lefty has an excellent shot and touch on the ball. Uses screens well, gets to the basket, and can finish or distribute. Has a really good feel for the game, can control the tempo. Smooth killer with the ball in his hands, confident player, and fun to watch. The game is moving in slow motion for him and he's just out there having fun.
Forward Babatunde Oladotun | 6'10 190 lbs
This is the guy they call Baby Durant. Nice touch on his 3-point shot, isn't afraid to pull up. Very long player, can finish pretty easily around the rim. Lacks the physicality, but has plenty of time to add strength and toughness to his game.
GUARD CALEB HOLT | 6'5 190 lbs
Very good athlete that is well put together with good size. Plays with good functional strength, aggression, and assertiveness. Isn't afraid to be a bully, which takes a certain level of mental toughness as a competitor. That's a great characteristic that you can't coach. Has some playmaking ability with the ball in his hands. Able to get to the rim and finish. Has decent touch on his outside shots. Doesn't seem like the type to be intimidated by anybody, un-phased. He'll be the one guarding guys like Anthony Edwards, which is a future match-up that I can't wait for.
Guard Qayden Samuels | 6'5 200 lbs
Absolute sniper from downtown. Another left-handed talent. There are more left-handed players in this class than I've seen in a while, maybe ever. Whatever you do, do not leave this guy open. He doesn't need much time or space to get one off. Good 2 guard size, can possibly develop into a player like Indiana Pacer's G/F Aaron Nesmith
Forward Christian Collins | 6'8 200 lbs
Another long-rangy forward, a 2-way prospect. Can flush it down inside easily with 2 hands. I thought he was 6'10 the way he flushes it down, so he must have some long arms. Nice fluidity in his movement, great lateral mobility and anticipation for his size. Very coordinated and comfortable within his own body. Has more potential to grow on the offensive side, but the natural skills are there.
C/PF Seyon Keita | 7'0 | Barcelona
Huge potential, excellent size and mobility. Good feel for the game, knows where to be at and has good timing. Has good hands and footwork to go with it. His length and impact on the boards is a huge problem for opposing teams.
Combo Guard Dylan Mingo | 6'5 185 lbs
Excellent touch on his shot, great form and spin on the ball. Can hit from anywhere on the court. Can also do some playmaking off of his fakes. Sees the court well, has a good understanding of the game. The game seems to be going in slow-motion for him, as he's able to take his time to dissect the defense.
GUARD JORDAN SMITH JR | 6'2 175 LBS | FAIRFAX, VA
Impressive athlete that might me the most explosive in this draft. He's putting in putback slams like he's 6'7. Phenomenal athlete! Excellent rebounder that plays like he's 6'8 the way he cleans up the boards. Has nice touch on his Jay. I'd like to see him improve his handles and become more of a playmaker with the ball in his hands, that way he can be more productive when he reaches the NBA. Right now, he's more of a combo guard, but he's undersized for the 2 spot. He would have the ball in his hands a lot more if he can develop into a point guard. As far as athleticism, he's 2nd to none.
Forward Mikka Muurinen | 6'9 200 LBS | Finland
Long, rangy forward. Great at anticipating passes, has long arms to get those steals. Smart player off of the ball, knows how to space and cut. Good help-defender, is aware and active on D. Decent outside shot that should improve over time. Can flush it down around the rim.
POWER FORWARD MOUSTAPHA DIOP | 6'10 200 LBS | MARIETTA, GA
Diop has some nice skill. As you can see, he has decent handles for a power forward. He moves extremely well for someone that size. He's very coordinated at 6'10, which is rare. Impacts the game in several ways, both defensively and offensively.
Chidi Nwigwe | 6'6 200 lbs
He's a complete offensive player, can score in every way. Way ahead of his years on offense. Great feel for the game, the game comes very easy to him. He'll definitely be moving up the list.
Guard Ikenna Alozie | 6'2 185 lbs
Strong, explosive point guard that can control the tempo. Doesn't mind getting rid of the ball and is active when off of the ball. Shifty enough to get to any spot on the court. Can finish around the rim with either hand. He's an excellent defender with great lateral quickness to cut off defenders. Reminds me a little bit of Melvin Levitt defensively, but Alozie has much more skill on offense.
FORWARD ALEX CONSTANZA | 6'7 190 LBS
Gifted natural athlete with a lot of untapped potential. Good length and nice touch on his 3-point shot. Solid handles, able to push the ball up the court in transition. Good size on the wing, can play the 3 or 2.
Shooting Guard Jalen Montonati | 6'6 180 lbs
Slippery player, great feel for the game. Knows how to get space and how to create his own shot. He's a natural 2.
FORWARD HUGO YIMGA MOUKOURI | 6'8 | FRANCE
Smart player understands the game and where to be at. Has good length and a strong, sturdy base. Good natural strength, athleticism, and a tough player.
GUARD ELIJAH WILLIAMS | 6'5 185 LBS | PHX, ARIZONA
Son of former Suns' coach, Monty Williams. Nice athlete, smart player. Good scorer, nice touch on his shot and able to finish inside. Good lower body strength and base, able to finish with contact.
Guard Kaden House | 6'3 175 lbs
Very Smart player, always a step ahead of the defense. Can get to the basket and finish high off of the glass with either hand. Can also knock down mid-range shots and 3-pointers. Pick your poison on the 3-level scorer. I'm really surprised that Duke isn't calling. He seems to fit their mold and he's every bit as good as a player like Proctor. House can actually score at a more efficient rate.
Shooting Guard Cameron Holmes | 6'5
Another lefty that shoots the ball really well. Can create his own shot. Is a confident shooter from outside, will knock it down. Can also drive and finish inside.
Power Forward Toni Bryant | 6'9 200 lbs
Tenacious, intense defender. Always active on the boards, is a natural rim protector. He's a true 4, don't ask him to do much on the perimeter. However, he can find a nice role with someone as a baseline cutter and slasher. Reminds me of Stromile Swift
Forward Kayden Allen | 6'5 210 lbs
Plays the game at his own speed, doesn't let defenders rush him. Takes him time to dissect the play, and has the handles to get to the right place. Uses his size and base of his body very well. Understands angles and has good footwork to support it. He sees the game in slow motion and has a high basketball IQ.
Guard Jaxon Richardson | 6'5
Son of Jason Richardson, and you can see it. Might be the bounciest player in this class. His explosive athleticism looks effortless. If he can become better off of the dribble, either as a shot creator or playmaker, he could shoot up to the top of this list. Most of his scoring comes from transition baskets, backdoor cuts, ally-oops, and putbacks. Doesn't seem to take the game too serious at times. Relies on his talent too much, needs to add more skill to his game. He's a good defender and an excellent athlete, but he's not a great half-court scorer.
His son obviously has his natural talent, but does he have the same discipline and drive that his father had? That's my big question, message me if you have the answer. I can measure a lot of things, but I can't measure heart without more in-depth knowledge about the player.
Forward Tahj Ariza | 6'6 175 LBS
Son of Trevor Ariza. He's a lot like his dad, long and rangy. Defensive minded, moves well for his length. Nice lateral mobility, has great defensive potential like his father. He does seem limited offensively, but so was his dad before developing a 3-pointer later in his career. 3 and D players will never go out of style in this league.
Guard Marcus Johnson | 6'2 175 lbs
Tough competitor, passionate player. Is a solid guard and will certainly have his options for D1.
